Signature Events
The Onyx Manor sets aside three days each year with intention, not obligation, for our signature events (an Easter celebration, family fishing day, and a Christmas nativity festival). Why? Because a place, no matter how beautiful, is only complete when it opens itself to others.
These gatherings are offered freely and we hope they’re received deeply. Long after the day has passed, what remains is the feeling of having been part of something that mattered.
Easter Resurrection Festival
In spring, the farm opens its gates for a full community celebration of Easter. Vendor booths, family activities, food trucks, live music, and a message of hope delivered in a setting that feels nothing like a church basement.
This is faith made festive.
Family Fishing Day
A family fishing day has a way of becoming more than it first appears.
It begins simply enough: a bucket, a line, a bit of bait, and someone showing someone else how it’s done. But somewhere between the first cast and the last, something shifts. Conversations happen that might not have found their moment elsewhere. A child learns patience without being told to. A parent steps back just enough to watch confidence take hold.
Around the edges, the day fills out quietly. Families spread blankets. Strangers become familiar in the easy way that happens when people are doing the same simple thing side by side.
It’s a day that reminds people how little is required for something to feel full: a stretch of water, a bit of time, and the steady presence of those you came with. By the time it ends, most find they have gained more than they brought, even if the fish were modest.
Christmas Nativity Festival
As the year closes, the campus opens its gates transforms into a living nativity that’s part seasonal market, part community gathering, part act of faith. Holiday vendors, warm food, and the kind of quiet wonder that the Christmas story deserves.
This is not a production. It’s a presence.
Designed for Gathering Well
We believe important work should not be limited by access to space. The Onyx Manor is a place where meaningful work and everyday life come together. Our spaces are available for gatherings that are thoughtful, purposeful, and well-crafted, including:
Ministry events
Civic and community gatherings
Educational programs and workshops
Milestone celebrations
Creative and commercial uses
Each use is considered with intention, with priority given to those that strengthen community, cultivate growth, and reflect the spirit of the manor.
