What is The Onyx Manor?

Most places like this tend to be one thing: a school, a church, or an event venue. The Onyx Manor brings those worlds together. Our 35-acre campus is designed to integrate faith, learning (both academic and practical), and gathering in a way that strengthens our community.

Across the property, you’ll find a small schoolhouse, a gathering hall, and the manor itself alongside open land, agricultural spaces, farm animals, and ponds. Each part serves a purpose. Together, they create something more.

Do I have to be religious to participate in activities?

We are founded on Christian values, so faith is present but certainly not a barrier to entry. You’re welcomed here.

Can I volunteer or get involved?

Yes! We’d love that. There are opportunities to support events, assist with programs, and contribute your skills and talents. Please complete the appropriate application below to help us find a place where you can plug in.

Can I rent The Onyx Manor?

Yes, the manor, gathering hall, and grounds are available for rent.

  • Monday–Thursday: 4 PM to 10 PM

  • Friday–Sundays: 8 AM to 10 PM

The Onyx Manor is home to Faithful Roots Schoolhouse Monday–Thursday until 4 PM and not open to the public.

Are your life skills workshops for adults or children?

Both. We offer life skills workshops for adults as well as children. Some workshops might encourage a parent and child to attend together so teaching continues beyond the session and into everyday life.

What safety measures are in place?

We believe meaningful experiences require a foundation of trust. That’s why we operate with intentional safeguards.

  • Visible, shared-space video monitoring

  • A two-adult model in youth programs, including parent partners

  • Background-checked staff and volunteers

Safety is not a formality; it’s about creating a place where people can show up fully, knowing they’re in good hands.

Do you have on-site parking?

Yes. Parking is accommodated on site in a grassy field. Roads must remain clear and accessible at all times.

How will events at The Onyx Manor affect the area?

Events are designed to fit naturally within the character of the property, with most gatherings small to mid-size, held at reasonable hours, and supported by on-site parking. In many cases, these activities also provide a nearby place for neighbors to gather, participate, and benefit from local events and programming.
