Our Vision

Every meaningful thing begins as an idea someone chose to carry long after it would’ve been easier to set it down.

The Onyx Manor was built on an idea that faith, academics, and practical training don’t have to exist in separate places. We believe that our community deserves a place where all three live together.

Our campus in Springfield, Georgia is the physical form of that conviction. We’ve built what we could build first, while laying the groundwork for what comes next.

What We Believe

Four Convictions. One Campus.

  1. We believe Christian education shapes the whole person, not just the student.

  2. We believe practical knowledge (how to manage money, solve problems, and build something of your own) belongs alongside academic pursuits.

  3. We believe strong families are the backbone of a community.

  4. We believe that serving our community is more than good manners — it’s the work that ties us together.

How We Operate

We run lean and build with intention.

We’re working through our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status and are committed to operating with good stewardship in the meantime. We’re building the kind of organization that will honor that designation when it arrives, stewarding its property and programming in service to the Effingham County community and greater southern Georgia. In the meantime, gifts are accepted and put directly to work.
