The Onyx Manor partners with Faithful Roots Schoolhouse, which provides a Christ-centered private education for families in our community. School is in session for up to 15 students Monday through Thursday every week.
Faithful Roots Schoolhouse is a private Christian micro school owned and operated by Dalton and Jessica Mitchell on the adjacent property. The Mitchells bring a deep commitment to Christian education and a hands-on approach to teaching.

The Daily Rhythm
The day begins as it ought to. Not hurried, not loud, but ordered. Students gather, and the morning is set with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. It’s not performed for effect. It’s practiced until it becomes familiar, and in time, foundational.
From there, they move into their studies.
Mornings are given to academic work while minds are fresh and attention is steady.
Afternoons are spent outside, where lessons take on weight and texture in the world beyond the desk.
The rhythm repeats itself Monday through Thursday, steady enough to form habit but varied enough to hold attention.
The Outcome
What leaves this place is not simply a student who has completed a set of lessons. The result is young people who can read with understanding, write with clarity, and think with order. We are equipping children to begin a task, continue it without constant prompting, and finish it well (capable in both academics and life).
